Built from real results,
not just good intentions
My personal experience reinforces that collective success. I have directly facilitated employment education, career workshops, and career camps for over 1,000 individual students, and indirectly supported more than 7,000 students — focusing on career exposure and essential skills like job readiness and professionalism. This hands-on experience was key to leading the effort that placed more than 1,000 students into employment, building strong relationships with major local employers like URMC and Wegmans. I also led Rochester Works job readiness training from 2024–2025 for RYJ youth and provided employment education through the Legacy Makers Wealth Initiative.

This work is founded on a proven track record in youth workforce development and a deep commitment to empowering young people. My leadership with The Hive Youth Workforce Consortium aligns with the mission of organizations like Glory House International: creating opportunities and removing barriers for young people.

Through The Hive, I helped lead a team that built out ten distinct career pathways and a cross-community collaboration effort that provided over 15,000 instances of workforce development support — including academic support, career exposure, and behavioral health resources. That comprehensive approach has been instrumental in placing more than 1,000 youth in jobs throughout Monroe County.
Beyond formal workforce programs, my pastoral role at RIT with The Plug young adult ministry gives me a unique understanding of the holistic needs of young adults. I don't just see a résumé gap — I see a person navigating identity, purpose, relationships, and pressure. Combined with nearly a decade of professional experience across sales, youth navigation, career readiness, and management, this perspective provides a strong foundation for delivering training that is not only effective, but deeply rooted in the practical realities and individual needs of the young people being served.
